We’re Sausage Stays and our small business came to life in 2019!

Whilst having a cocktail or five on holiday on the beautiful island of Mykonos, Greece, we discussed over dinner how fortunate we were to have loving family to look after Darcy & Miley whilst we enjoyed a break.

What we would do if it wasn’t for Nanny & Grandad? We’d need to find a Sausage Dog Hotel…

That’s where Sausage Stays came alive! On the return flight home, all we could talk about was setting up our little Sausage Dog hotel.

Once licensed by our friends at Plymouth City Council we began offering ‘Home from Home’ boarding for Sausages and our name quickly spread.

Today we have a strong returning client with clients travelling from as far as Helston, Cornwall and even Taunton, Somerset who trust us to look after their little ones!

We continue to offer our Boarding Service from our beautiful home in Plymouth, just of the A38 and in May 2025 will offer Sausage Dog Daycare from our leased premises in Plympton, Plymouth.
